Here we go

Thanks for checking this page out. I’ve been working on art for a long time, but really needed the push to continue to evolve myself and get my art out into the world. To that end, I’ve started this site and the connected Instagram page. Only about a decade late to the party, I know.

On this site, you’ll find some old art, and hopefully a lot of new art. I mostly draw and paint, with an emphasis on making comics. Too often I’ve been afraid to post something or share it because I don’t feel it’s good enough. To help myself overcome that, and to achieve an old goal of mine, I’ve started a web-comic, Leonard Two-Arms and the Frogs.

Five days a week I will post a new page. To prevent myself from burning out, and to make sure I can fit it into my schedule, I am trying to limit myself to a half hour per page. That includes, planning, penciling, lettering, and inking. I was inspired by Ryan Browne’s Blast Furnace, which he created spending an hour on each page. His results are infinitely better than my own, and I recommend checking them out.

I hope you’ll enjoy the adventures I create with help from my children, (especially Hobbes). Feel free to spread it around and leave comments to share your thoughts.

I’ll also post some pictures of my new works, be it adding a mural to my car (when the weather gets nicer), bird paintings for the Portland Art Walks (again, when the weather gets nicer), or just some random doodles.
